AN AUDIENCE OF ONE

Probably the most frequent visitor of FUNAMBULUS is its own exalted editor.  He checks his own site almost every day, eager to read and see new material.  He walks away (no, clicks away), disappointed, suddenly realizing that he, not anyone else, is the one responsible for introducing new material.  He feels dismayed by the awesome sense of responsibility that has descended upon his shoulders.  Goodbye, work.  Goodbye, social life.  New material will have to be written.  And no one will be more delighted by this development than this material's own writer.
